Zac Merle

Zac Merle is a mixed media artist and painter who splits his time working in his studios in Bath and London. He works predominantly with images, collage, paper and texture. Fascinated by ‘rejected materials,’ Zac begins his work process by reclaiming these found materials - viewing them as ‘treasures’ in his own personal collection. His bold and colourful abstractions are meditative and highly thought-provoking. Zac’s work tows the line between precision, form and structure. His hands-on approach to his creations makes him not only an artist, but also a maker.
